Welcome to The Richardsons of Philadelphia
My grandparents, like many African Americans, migrated from South Carolina to head north. My family settled in Philadelphia, PA in 1922. My grandfather was the leader of our legacy. We became the Richardsons of Philadelphia.
African American genealogy tends to be a difficult task. However, it becomes challenging and exciting to do the research, and from that, write the stories. Keeping alive the memories of the past, allows me to glean from the sacrifices that were made. The stories become a link from the past to the present, and eventually, the future. I have accepted the opportunity to be a "Keeper of the Kin." It is an honor to be able to preserve the family history through the stories I write.

Format each of your headings below to Heading 2 to keep your post neat and SEO-friendly.
